“Confidence is like a well within you that you can draw on.”
From the teachers: We all suffer from lack of confidence from time to time. There is no shame there. But what will you do to make things you truly want to come about, if you lack confidence? We think confidence is like a well within you that you can draw upon, and it never empties and is always full, so to speak. You draw up buckets of it as you need it. And being needers of confidence, as you are of water, you need it often.
Now, when the “well runs dry,” it is not really dry, but you have lacked confidence that it is full. Do you understand? You are allowing something to run dry, that cannot run dry. So it must be your perception and only your perception. It is as if you were to walk out to a lake and not see the water that is there. It is there, but you say you cannot see it. Some may say, not being able to appreciate it is the near cousin to not being able to see something. So if you perceive that the well of your confidence has run dry, have you really looked? Are you in tune with what you must be to see if there is more, much more waiting at the bottom, so to speak, to quench and nourish you. Now draw up the bucket confidently, and find there it is. You drink deeply from the ladle and say, “Now I am quenched. I can do what I want to do, came to do.” You are restored. Just as those who thirst can go on when they have received drink, so when you are filled again, you can go out and on with your life.
N
ow, we know that the well is never empty, and you must believe that as you lower your bucket into the recesses. You must believe that and when you draw it up, there it will be, sparkling and refreshing. You must believe us. You do not LACK confidence, you only think that you do, because you do not peer into your own recesses and draw forth what is yours, has always been yours and never dissipates … the real and valuable YOU, and all that you are, and came forth to do. That is what you are turning to when you need confidence … in a sense, it is just validation of you, and that you are SO LOVED, which is the assurance you seek at every turn. Well, you have that … you have ours, and that of so many countless others, whether you can see them with your physical eyes or not. That is not the problem. That is not the challenge. More, it is that you believe in yourself and know that you will not be let down or disappointed when you drop your bucket into your well and draw forth what you hope will sustain you. You drink of your own spirit and the spirit that surrounds and sustains you. We hope you understand. How could something so central to the universe and All that is, ever be expired, dry or empty? It is just not possible. So refresh yourself daily at your own well of well-being, of value that you bring to things and who you are. Now draw hard and draw deep from this and wear your mantle of confidence proudly, my children. We are complete and so happy to share this message with you. Love, Your Teachers.
