What you seek

By Deborah Arndt

Thinking deeper about what’s holding you back

Our teaching is linked to experiential things, which is after all what you are seeking.

Looking out at a vista.

In this world of wonder we are all in, what are you seeking and what holds you back? We are with you now, and endeavoring to reach you and teach you. We know this is a time of turmoil, restlessness, and wondering. Not always the good kind, but the kind that asks deep hard questions. “Why is this happening? What’s happening to me? Where do we go from here?” But you must remember that all is given to you already, and you will not be abandoned or in any way bereft.

How do we go about that? Well, it’s not us, but the many who get involved, including yourselves. There is no Deus Ex Machina in that sense that drops solutions into your lap. Except of course through words such as these that come to you just when you need them, as if indeed dropped from heaven. Not always from us, but from others, too!

What and where are they? Look around you in your churches and temples. Look out into nature. Look into the smiling faces of those around you. There are your answers. So what are your questions? Aren’t they already being answered? Doesn’t humanity provide what you are seeking? Into the face of humanity you must look. Now, there is learning with deep tracks of experience! What can you learn, and how can you benefit from that?

That’s what we want for you: to be able discerners or perceivers of what is being answered now before you. Not being put off to tomorrow or when the sun might come out again. No, we really mean now! Where you are and where you find yourself. So, look and listen is another way to say it.

Are we avoiding the issue? Never! We simply don’t do that. We’re bringing the issue squarely to you. That is different. We come reverently, modestly, and humbly asking you to consider these things. No totems or spells to be cast, but honest, open handed giving based on experience. That’s really what you seek. Something you can plunge into, take home, and keeps giving through all the hard times and all the ages, never failing you. That’s what we offer.

It may strike you at first as just words, but all our teaching is linked to experiential things, which after all is what you are seeking. What good is something for you that is partial or unreal, or a shadow or representation of what could be. What good are empty promises or fair weather solutions? No, you hunger for traction and solutions that bring the rubber to the road so to speak, indeed the road you are on, too.

Try to do some reflection about your daily thoughts, what you most wish for, and how you might be short circuiting your dreams and ambitions with thoughts of worry and doubt. That’s no way to go about it. Instead offer ideas of hope, fervent belief, and knowing that what you seek will come your way. This is the candle flame that sparks the world and lights the way however modestly, even dimly at first, but radiates soon outward to connect you to a vibrant pace in the universe, a lighted way that is light itself in that case.

Why not experiment with this, my children? We are here for this and to focus you on these things. In God’s name we are here, and know that all is God in that sense around you. With love for you — your teachers.

Overcoming worry

By Deborah Arndt

Offering different thought

There is no offsetting the fervent thought you offer that something else can be true.

fear and worry

We are here for you as usual and wanting the best for you. But are you doing your part, too? When anxious worry overwhelms you, what are you offering as contrasting thought? Are you moving ahead with new or different ideas?

A case in point: say, you are overwhelmed with worry for the well-being of someone you know, and now he/she is unwell possibly due to the Covid virus. What are you to do? Will you move the world around and try to undo what is done? Or will you offer different, ample thought that registers as love, as a hug or embrace might do?

When you envelop what you are thinking … embrace what you are thinking with a new thought and offer that as hard as you do anything you feel fervently about, then you start to change things around. Do you understand?

There is no offsetting that powerful, fervent thought you offer that says, “Something different can also be true  … that they will be well and go on flourishing as they have done.” You are the maker of these thoughts and the outcomes that go along with them. No, you don’t inhabit or change the experience of others, but you are a forceful agent just the same of any outcome where you apply the thought we are talking about.

You could think of yourself as an agent for change in that sense, but first you must change yourself.

What does that involve? Well, that is why we have written these many books for you to explore. You may need time to delve into these themes that, after all, challenge many of your current beliefs. Take the time, leisurely even, to explore the rich panorama, the array before you of ideas and concepts we are floating out to you. Then, dive deep and swim with broad, hard strokes to get where you want to go. The getting there isn’t always easy, but it is extremely satisfying, and then you are more awakened than ever before if that is what you are seeking.

We are very strident about these things when talking to Deborah who asks about these matters regularly. We are making the point that her worry and anxiety belong to her, not to the situation she is imagining or has in mind. Is that becoming clearer for you? We urge you to read and find out more about these topics of importance in your lives.

Enough for All Time

By Deborah Arndt Leave a Comment

“Each day when you awaken, something wonderful is happening. Are you looking for it?”

From the Teachers:  “Dear Ones: This morning we write you and wish you all well. As Deborah sits here writing for us there is mcropped-hill-1114149__180.jpguch beauty to look out upon. What about for you? Do you have what you need about and around you? What are you searching for? Each day when you awaken something wonderful is happening. Are you looking for it? Are you assuming that worry and concern have come your way and will be around for a while? We want to ask you to stop and draw a breath and see what else might be out there for you. Life is passing by and what are you doing about it?

You fashion life just as you do everything else. You take the clay given you and make something more. What do you think about that? In this very day, you are offered heaps of clay, mountains of it in fact. What will you do? Deborah is looking out on snow mounds on the water and imagines how she might walk on them, and how they might take her somewhere else. Now we speak of clay and how these mountains are like so much clay piled up for her, for you to play with. There is so much of it.

Imagine the Rockies.  Now there is a lot of clay if you want to think of them that way. There is enough clay to keep you going. What we mean is that if you were to imagine them as the clay we and ‘All that is’ have provided for you, and you can shape your experience like so much clay, then we have given you the Rockies worth of clay to be getting on with. Can you understand that?

Now you sit there and worry in this day… will there be enough, will there be happiness, enough money, enough time, enough good times, enough… enough… enough. Well, ENOUGH, is what WE say. Enough with worrying about such things Why not try trusting? Now there is an idea for you. Why not just believe that there will BE enough? You could work on that for this day and give yourself a lifetime of joy, a lifetime of enough. The kind that unfolds happily and joyfully each day. What does that mean? It is like money in the bank, a never ending supply. What do you think life is made of anyway? It is the stuff of the universe, you are part of it, and it never ends and it is all around you and inside you and in between the cells of you, supporting all that you are and ‘All that is.’ Now do you think there is enough of that to go around? Of course there is. How could it be otherwise?

Don’t let niggling worries peck away at your happiness until you have a hole-y experience. Fill in each speck of your life, the whole and full texture of your life with something more. Thicken and expand it, until the ‘warps and woofs’ of your life are supportable for all you experience and all you think you must endure. You will bounce back like the softest of mattresses and again find your stance. You will laugh as you fall into your soft mattresses, the softness that surrounds every little thing that loves you and adores you.

Now take away that thought today from this blog and ask yourself what comforts you most: knowing that you have this soft loving enduring mattress to fall back upon my friend, or that you have thin hopes, thin experiences and barely ‘enough’ to get by? Which do you prefer? What is the difference? Only in your thinking … the application of your thought to make things so. We will want to keep talking about this with you for we are so intensely concerned for you. That means we bring great focus to bear upon these things to get to you through loving communication … which is really the best kind. Nothing can be imposed upon you, but that you allow it. So we approach softly with love and consideration for you. And we hope you’re willing to listen and learn. You see, that is our approach. Do use this blog as a portal for us to connect with YOU. That is our intention. Have a blessed day in all that you do and think. Bring good things toward you and watch what happens.”  Your Teachers.

“Nothing can be imposed upon you, but that you allow it. So we approach softly with love and consideration for you. And we hope you’re willing to listen and learn. You see, that is our approach.”
