A Time Apart

Leading you forward so you can take heart

When you are worried, there are signposts that guide you

When we are with you, it’s good! We want the best for you always. We watch and try to engineer what will help you gain a foothold in thinking that will serve you through the years. Where you are doubting, worried or careworn, this is where we can make a real difference. It comes in showing you what the options are. Helping you to separate out what you want from what you don’t want.

Words are bandied everywhere and we aren’t talking about just words, but the meaning, and in fact experiences that underlie them. So, you know we are streaming words to you to gain an effect in some way, but to bring you to a higher understanding girded by authentic or true experience, so you can respond, “Aha, that had traction! That made a difference. I can see that now. I will remember that.”

Gain a foothold in thinking that will serve you

We would want you to want to grow into that, want to know more about that. That’s the growth we are talking about. Always be like a tree with spreading limbs growing, reaching ever upward and outward.

Such wonderful symbols are there everywhere around you. You can draw on them for inspiration, but also truth. Truth about the lives you lead, truth about where you are heading, and truth about what exists around you. We’re not saying that everything around is allegory, but it’s also not far from that in the sense that they are signposts leading you forward.

We speak often with Deborah encouraging her to go out the hills, which is another way to say, get outdoors and behold the wonders around you. Go where you feel the wind in your hair, and lift yourself upward toward the sky (which you achieve by simply lifting your chin) and ask to be filled with wonder, but also knowing that you are watched over, so loved, and always supported.

How could such wonder before you hold different truths? We find these to be self-evident. It would be good if you could arrive at a place that this is true for you, too.

Now, take heart, be wise, offer up good and loving thoughts toward others. Know that they need those, as you need the very food that sustains you. Can you not feel the good will and love resonating around you at times? It’s hard to say when that point truly comes home to you. Perhaps when you peer into an amazing poster, or a shop window with lighthearted and beautiful arrangements, or when you are online and see happy pictures and videos, or when you feel all the world embracing you, and is in on this together with you. Don’t you feel you have more suddenly? That’s what we mean.

You don’t have to go far to experience it, or even look for it. It just comes. As you hear an infant’s laughter, gurgle, or even cry, so this pierces you, you hearken to it in some way. So let the universe which hearkens to you embrace you. Lift up yourself to the possibilities of your life … your intentions, which are all-important.

Think of our books as guides and supports

Read more in our books about these themes. Come to know them as you know anyone or anything. They are meant to be friends, guides, supports … anything you want them to be where there is good filling you, a feeling of love and being loved and supported. Try to get to that place, my children, in all that do, and you shall surely flourish, which is want you want anyway.

Take our hands.. We are not far away. Just a mere thought, asking, or desire away from you. Embrace our teaching and allow all-that-is to embrace you … heartily.

On Christmas Morn

A celebration of higher things. A time to reflect and give.

You, lighting another’s way, is a magnificence born of such things as a Christmas morn.

We write you these words so that you can understand the higher meaning and intentions behind what you call your higher celebrations. We know you feel greatly the importance of these days, and you are right! They are important! But they are for you individually, too. A time to reflect. A time to give. These are not foreign notions to you. They are inbuilt and you have long studied and understood what we mean through your long history, or even if you are coming to this learning more recently.

Treasure you truly want

Know that you can discover new horizons and riches of treasure beyond your understanding yet attained. By that we mean you can gawp and ponder at the magnificence of something that has come your way, without realizing its true meaning: shall you wear your tiara or rubies or shall you admire them or shall you sell them to the highest bidder? What does one do with this cache or treasure?

So, what if we were to tell you to cash these things in for the things you truly do most want to have, experience, and be. For you see, that is what your heart urges you toward almost with every breath you take. You are always wanting something and always trying to move toward it.

Interruptions may appear to come or things slow you down or seem to impede, but that is just you getting in the way! For you have abilities and powers that far exceed those things and would lay them to waste in a moment if you let them. In other words, you can draw on a power so supreme that you become part of that and can wield it in any direction you want, and hopefully for good.

Christmas spirit

Now let us return to the Christmas spirit as you like to think of it. Now, here we have many millions of you, either in your society, or that of others, that sense the vastness and importance of this time. For even if you have assigned this day artificially, still you need a focal point for your parties and celebrations so that the year and your life, and all that you work for have one or more focus points along the way. That’s really what your celebrations are for, my children. To celebrate you! To celebrate life and all that it brings in gifts!

We never exclude anyone from this, no matter how are you are abled and what you deem your capacities to be, for we know what you can accomplish if you want to. There is no barrier as you tend to think of them. That is only your imagination, or better stated, your worries which you project or practically give life to. Now, what good will that do you? For you are here to give, yes, but also to receive. You cannot accomplish the former without the latter, as a way to see it.

For where you open your arms to All-that-is and say, “Come to me and fill me with unparalleled and unsurpassing gifts,” so are you then able to give the same to others, but funneled through you, your intelligence, your wit, your smile, and your encouragement. When you take another’s hand in this way, you light fields ahead with radiant light as if from a thousand lanterns, so strong it is.

Lighting the way

You, lighting another’s way, is a magnificence born of such things as a Christmas morn, and all those who gather within this premise of understanding of what grace and blessing is. It or they know no bounds, no exceptions, and no barriers as you think about them. They are always the exception and thus the rule in that sense that you shall never be alone, always helped, and always offered light from our lantern, and those of a million others who have come to understand our teaching … our ‘light array’ for you where you approach our lantern, pick it up, and shine a light unto others as well as light your own way.

Now, that can’t be too hard to do, can it? If it is possible for one, or has been possible for any before you, then why not you? That is not a rhetorical question, but the truth. The absolute, if you prefer that word, truth.

Eternal values and higher things

What absolutes there are in this world, then let it be known that they are such concepts as goodness, fairness, justice, kindness, wisdom, and generosity among them, and the never-endingness of your life and experience. Eternal values are just that, always there, and always with you, and always working in your favor, in that sense. Here is a system you cannot buck. No, you must string along and then make the best of it, as you do as a child in your family until you grow in wider understanding of the magnificence of the family unit, be it in your birth family, or community, or among your friends who connect with and care about you.

So that is family, and it is indeed a high holy thing, as a way to say it, as are your festivals and celebrations that raise you up to higher thinking, and higher values, and higher gifts to others that can only source through you, and your connection to higher things. Call them God; call them All-that-is; or call them the great and wide universe … that you can cling and hold onto, and embrace what you most agree with and suits you, so that you are always lifted higher and higher with never ending joy. Amen. And that you may experience the fruits of all that you are, and bring, and do. Amen.

Joy be with you on this season of giving. Let those gifts be of you wherever you can, and spread this as far and wide as jam on the bread of life. That is you, jam on the bread of life. So shall you eat of it and then benefit others so you become it, as those before you have spoken: “I am the bread of life …” Amen.

Your inspired program

Create what you most want. Get wrapped up in your intention.

Something you wake to and have faith in, that’s what we want for you.

We’re wondering with you what will happen next in your lives. What are you the keeper of, if not yourself? When do you come to terms with your higher self? We may be coming across as negative or maybe even too inquisitive, but we are for you. Oh yes, we really are, and only want what’s best for you! Never lose faith in that.

Now, we want you to think about your day as having a sort of program attached to it. Something you wake to and have faith in and know it will work for you. That’s what we want for you. If you think we are making this up, we’ll we are. We’re trying to roll with you and how you think about things. So, if you wake up on a morning and wonder how your day will go, then we think you will profit from this little post that can change your world. It really can!

What do we mean by that? We mean you can get more creative in the sense you are going with it, rolling along with your ideas, even your mood, but you are adding something more. You are engaging with what we like to call a program … a program of thought, a self-organizing premise that says, I can follow a pattern I have established for myself, and see where I can go with it. I can achieve a higher place … more what I want to achieve, and go to bed smiling, as it were. That’s what we want for you.

Get organized

Why do we call it a program? Doesn’t that sound a little formal if not off-putting altogether? No, that’s not our intention, we are trying to clue you in to the possibility of structured thinking, and having faith in the continuity of things around you supporting you with purpose wrapped up in your intention. Can you begin to understand that? Can you conceive of a big program in the sky, for instance, that beckons you or takes shape for you that says, try this out and see if it fits into your day, your life, and the way you would like to see things.

Do you feel that it might be a good idea to get organized, and give this a chance? Perhaps you will come to better understanding about how everything works. No, it’s not slapdash, a gamble, or precarious. That’s not what the universe is about. It’s unified, if anything, and is looking for, or is in alignment with, as another way to say it, clear intentions clearly launched that say, I will do this. I wish to accomplish that. I’m on my way to this. I see myself as achieving that. I’m feeling good now, and expect more of the same.

Now, everything can line up like so many bowling pins ready for you to make your powerful and expert strike, as a way to see it. Would you like that, and could you go with that line of thought and that kind of thinking? That’s what we’re trying to say to you, and to come across with.

Where you doubt, is where you overthink so much. No, we aren’t saying you shouldn’t use your mentality in all this, but to begin to see the shape of higher things, things you may have missed or not noticed along the way. Can a day pass when you don’t wonder about this? Wondering if everyone is just this side of missing out on the big picture. We know you think this when you hear of bad news or a missed step that could have been avoided. What were they thinking about? Then you might apply that thinking and ask, what might I be missing in this moment? Could I be making my children more safe, doing more for myself and my partner, looking ahead, reading signposts more faithfully? That’s what we mean.

Now, we are offering you a giant billboard with the words, Think Program! A viable program or other means you think up, of offering your thoughts at the start of the day, for example, of what you would like to experience and how you will arrive there. What elements around you and resources available to you will you use to accomplish this, or hope to use? That’s what we’re talking about.

Another day

Achieve what you want in each day. Profit yourself in the best sense.

Fulfill yourself in ways you may have forgotten about, or have given up on.

When you are wondering what you want from this day, and the next to come, and so forth, we hope you will come to our door … our door of understanding, as another way to say it. We are here to profit you in the best sense of that word.

We write about this in our works. What do we mean by that? Do we come all this way offering the best of ourselves in order not to bring you good news, or help you in some way? What would be the point of that? We are always seeking new ways to reach you, and we know where you are! We mean that a bit tongue in cheek, but there is validity in that we know what is concerning or worrying you and how brightly you are shining in your world or life. We so want that for you. We know if you are dimming your lights, so to speak, or offering it to a point of radiance outward! What does this mean? It means another day can go from “Ho-hum, nothing much is happening,” to “Wow, can I get more of this? What comes next and how do I get in on it?”

Shine brightly in your world and your life

We love it when that happens! Your time in each day in that sense is not wasted, but is being fulfilled. You are fulfilling yourself in ways you may have forgotten about, or have given up on. But we ask, how can you not concern yourself with you? That doesn’t make sense to us. It should be your central motif, first, and central concern… you, and everything else flows from that.

It’s hard to conceive of that, as it seems to reverse learning you’ve received from your past that says, “Do the other guy a good turn first, then think about yourself,” or something akin to that. What we’re saying is that when you put yourself front and center, and offer to yourself the best of everything available in the wide wide universe, then others benefit, too. If you think we mean material things, in some cases that’s the case, but most of the time, we mean to put material possessions and thoughts about acquisition aside for awhile, and concentrate on what part of yourself is being fed, nourished from within, with all that you need to flourish. That is true treasure after all. The kind you were seeking all along.

That’s true treasure … the kind you are seeking.

As a new day approaches and dawns in your life, you may want to steer your thoughts in that direction, “What am I doing in this day to make it a better experience for myself? What am I, as a consequence, offering to others? Can I see the benefit? Can I hold on to that and use it as a first step or rung on my life ladder to regain my faith in myself, the world around me, and my fellow humanity?

Then you are so able to go from there, as the saying goes. So, where are you going? Have you the intention to go somewhere great? Do you have a plan for that? These are all questions to ponder, and we are always here for you. Please explore our books and philosophy. What might you be missing out on otherwise?

When others are away

Words shared with my niece who was away from home and missing her family during the Holidays. I think this is apt for so many of us now. I hope it has meaning for you, too. —Deborah

You are always at the right place in the right time.

You could have no greater experience than simply being you.

You can never be left behind. Not for long. For you are always in the hearts and minds of others. Those who gave birth to you and raised you, and those who tenderly loved you through all your youthful years. And love you now, undisputedly. You know who they are, yet there are those you do not know about. Those who mercifully and lovingly look down on you from above, from their haven of light, of love, and shed that on you, bestow more of that on you, so that you should never be lonely, never be cast down, but be happy.

Now, there is the challenge—how to be happy when you look around you and can find things to be unhappy about—perhaps the distance of friends and loved ones. Perhaps you feel at times overburdened and alone, but you are never alone, not really, my child.

You could know no greater love. You could have no greater experience than simply being you. Now at Christmas, or at any time really, you need never wonder where you are, what you are doing or whether you are loved, for you are always at the right place in the right time.

Remember always how much you are loved, and let that shine a light into your darkness whenever you feel it come calling at your door. You don’t have to let darkness in. You can decide to be abundant light yourself, shining out to others whose doors are similarly bolted against the night, against the loneliness, against the worry and the separation. No, that ‘s not you. For you are a wonder. You are strong. You are a vision to behold. That is you, the wonderful child in all that you do.

Draw near and hear our words. You are loved beyond your wildest imaginings, and you are never alone, though you might think you are. For you are connected to all that is connected in the whole of the entire universe, and that is saying a lot.

Now on this Christmas, we wish to say this to you:

Our child, our tenderest child, for that is you! Take heart, and place your hand in the hands of those who love you, who are above you somewhere in the heavens, if you want to look at it that way. Go out and look at the stars, and you will see us. Close your eyes, and you will discern us. We are just a glance and a thought away. We are so near, we are closer than touch, but we care just as deeply. That is the part that is important. Don’t tell us you do not feel the care, the light, and love all around you wherever you are. Simply look, my child and look some more! You will see us, and you will see all you ever need to see, even in your hours of greatest need. That is our Christmas message and gift to you.

Now, read this carefully and slowly. Let the dawn bring you joys forever, for that is what you deserve! You are never alone, but always accompanied. Now isn’t that good news? We embrace all there is about you, and we love and honor what you bring to your table of life. We love that you make others smile, and that you bring so much of the light within you to the lives of others. So your gifts are our gifts back at you. Can you begin to understand that—that what you bring lights the world, so that we may light it back at you? That is how it all works, my child.

Our dearest one, look into the mirror of your own soul, and be so pleased as we are of you, our dearest child and offspring of the universe and all of God’s light, too. Life guidance: today is the day

Moving you to higher ground

We’re makers of something wonderful for you.

Imagine you are on a hike and come to a forest you’ve never explored. Would you stop to wonder, “Will it be challenging to get through? Will there be shafts of light to help me? Will I like what I experience?” This is really no different than each day of your life. You approach each one where you’re unsure of the outcome or experience you will have. Can you see where this places you at a disadvantage?

Not that we don’t like adventure and discovery. We know hiking to new places can bring that. Yet we would want a guide or map so we can anticipate pitfalls, even literally as we progress. You aren’t after all looking to fall, but to progress! Going without a map or guide might seem fearless, but could result in an outcome you don’t want.

Deborah remembers hiking through a dense forest and going off trail. While navigating back through thick undergrowth, she found herself standing precariously on the edge of a steep ravine. She grabbed hold of her dog’s leash to help step back quickly. After taking a moment to appreciate her dog, Aggie, she thought to herself, “Next time, bring a map!”

How is your life experience any different where you don’t arm yourself with foreknowledge, as a way to say it, and how is this possible anyway? You might wonder what we’re getting at here. Are we somehow able to chart the future, or open pathways for you? What are we talking about?

Actually, we’re makers of something wonderful for you: guidebooks filled with ways to navigate through your days. And more than that … achieve destinations you want.

It may seem impossible, but that’s the business we’re in. Not to see you falling over cliffs, but to move you to higher ground. In fact, to help you maintain that higher ground, sure footed, and assured to reach your destination with as little discomfort or upset as possible. Not one jot is taken away from the high adventure and discovery which many of you seek, but meted out in a way that you can truly profit from it, absorb, and delight in. In this way you are uplifted.

Assisted and succeeding

Imagine falling, and noticing on the way down how beautiful the night sky is? That’s what we mean. What good would that do you? Wouldn’t you rather notice the beauty of the night sky where you are comfortable, secure, or most able to appreciate it? That’s we are offering.

Why spend each day moving forward into circumstances where you are unsure of the outcome? Wouldn’t you rather have a happy outline or chart before you assuring you of outcomes you want and will most benefit from?

Nothing is certain, we can guarantee. But much can be predicted with accuracy where you observe what we are teaching—that you create forward into your experience, so what can lead you is what you are focused upon and specifically what thoughts you are offering. In that case, you need no guidebook per se, but the shining light overhead that is fueled through your radiant outward thoughts shedding a light ahead and forecasting pleasant conditions. That is really what you want.

But you question this and prefer to go it alone relying on instinct, luck, or whichever way the wind is blowing. That’s where you are at a disadvantage. We would want so much more for you.
