Insight and wisdom to light up your life

A bale tale

By Deborah Arndt

A field hand was returning home one winter’s evening and stopped to consider some bales of hay:

“The grass grows green and sweet. It’s harvested and baled to bring nourishment to our animals.Yet it’s more than that! It can provide light and warmth. A blaze to cook a warming meal or revive a waning fire. The bale can keep you warm, make a bed to lie upon or seat to stand or sit upon.

This sweet grass brings so much more than itself, yields more! So I see thee as friend, something that does double duty, even in tough times. It’s giving silently … and is trustworthy.”

Now, isn’t this a parable for you all? Wouldn’t you want to burn brightly at all seasons and bring more of yourself. You have so much more to offer and depths within you! So here is a winter’s tale … a bale tale. But not baleful, if you get our drift.  – Your teachers

Reaching you

By Deborah Arndt

“You don’t have to travel far to reach us, for we’re present in your day-to-day experiences.”

This blog is a way for us to reach you more directly. What fun it is to come to a place where ‘you’ are the focus … you are the source of our interest, inspiration, and work! Yes, it really does work that way!

We are here for you. In some ways we exist for you. Does that sound strange? We all keep each other going in this wide, wide universe. Never doubt that. Read on to connect with rich messages that we send to you. Never worry so much about who we are, as what we are bringing to you and the messages we bring to inspire you life. We don’t mean not to think about who we are, rather to operate from the place of receiving the news and messages we bring to attain greater happiness. When you feel better, you will know us better. Does that make sense? You cannot know that which you have not taken the time yet to know, to become closer to. Do you understand?

So, let all this percolate a while and you will see that we really are in this for you, and have your best outcomes in mind. We always teach with love.

Forgive us that this is an indirect kind of introduction to us that we provide here, but how could it be otherwise? Could you take the brightness and brilliance of us if you could see us? Could you take the powerful emissions from here that surround you and your planet each day. Simply know they are there. And it is love. That is all you really need to know at this starting place. We promise it will deepen and deepen profoundly for you. Keep reading and learning more. We invite you to test us. We love that.

If you are reading our words, and you are benefiting in some way, then it makes sense that we are not lying, but are telling you the truth. So if that is the case, then we must be doing our thing as teachers and working through Deborah to be of benefit to you. —- Your teachers

Getting underway

By Deborah Arndt

We promise not to make it too hard for you to succeed in applying this philosophy!

You could say it’s laughingly easy, because we want you to have a good time as you learn and apply what you are learning. So, why not enjoy yourselves? You get started by simply STARTING. We are always making that point. Like starting a garden, you need only a shovel to get underway. We know this is overly simplistic, however you get our point. You don’t need much more than that, metaphorically speaking, to get underway with this philosophy either. So let’s get started. Read our works and visit this blog to draw ongoing inspiration. — your teachers

Taking note

By Deborah Arndt

We love to have fun with what we fondly term “mind games.” They are playful and lighthearted, and not meant to harm you in any way. But they are nevertheless serious work.

We offer them to benefit you. Here is one called “Take Note” to begin to condition you to your work to align yourself to words, meanings, and energies that benefit you. Remember the best way to be in all things is open, receiving and benefiting. We integrate this into the exercise.  Here are some simple steps:

  1. Prepare by getting a pen or pencil, notepad or several sheets of paper. You could use a voice recorder for this exercise, too. Relax and let your mind unwind. Sit comfortably or stroll somewhere, preferably where there are few distractions and you can let go. Deborah works at this when she is swimming or meditating. She remembers and make notes after swimming, which is a little harder. So we recommend that you are somewhere comfortable where you can make notes in the moment.
  2.  Open yourself by emptying your mind. Set forth the intention to notice what flows in and to benefit from this activity. As we like to say, the best way to be at all times is open, receiving, and benefiting. Next, ask to receive some inspiration and in-flow from us for this activity, such as assist you in starting off the process by moving along some words toward you. Check in with yourself to see if you are letting go and allowing words or phrases to flow in. This can take a little practice as you clear the closet of your mind — extracting the bits and pieces of everyday matters and errata that collect in your mind and seem to bump into or overshadow your mindful you – emptied, awaiting and receiving.
  3.  Receive--We think you will start to notice words bubbling to the surface of your mind, possibly one at a time, and you should write them down, staying calm and present in the moment. The words may surprise you at first. “What’s happening?” you might ask. However, there is nothing to fear, just some words popping into your mind to say, “Hello” in no particular order, but we think you will start to notice some patterns. Some are helpful beacons from us, and we think they are noteworthy. Some will repeat. Some will seem to come in pairs, like twins, with same prefixes for example and possibly with related meanings. Single words or whole phrases might bubble up. Either way, it’s fine. Don’t judge or edit, just let them flow. Understand the source of these words is various. Many are drawn from what is present in your thoughts and mind, and what is percolating to the top. Some are pushed forward from us to get you thinking or started. But you must not prejudge or assume what the source is … from us or you. For that work is part of this exercise. When you have completed a list of whatever length, and you feel ready to do so, go ahead and read them back to yourself.
  4. Match your feelings to the words, either what you felt at the time when you received a word, or as you read each back to yourself now. What feelings or emotions surface around these words or phrases?  Reflect on these. Now, match the words to your wishes, or your intentions for your life. Which words seem to speak to those wishes or intentions?
  5. Draw some conclusions. Words are powerful emissaries. You know what you are thinking about when you think about words. Which ones feel important? Which ones align with you inner being or heart? Which ones seem dissonant or even repugnant? Words are, after all, how we reach out to you to connect and communicate initially. And the philosophy we are teaching you about is made up of just that … words. As you do this exercise, you will notice words of the philosophy flowing in. In contrast, you will notice words that seem in opposition to or dissonant with the philosophy. These words of contrast assist in teaching you about the philosophy. Think of the word, “punish.” It is not of the philosophy to punish yourself or others, but we discuss this concept of punishing or punishment in order to make this point. Do you grasp our meaning here and what we mean by words of the philosophy, or contrasting and in dissonance with the philosophy which we use to teach you about the philosophy? Here is a simple example. Let’s say you are thinking about the Golden Rule. You might register words that you associate with it, such as “mercy,” or “tolerance.” You might also register words that you associate as being in dissonance with it such as: “revenge,” or “dominate.” If words seem confusing or in any way repugnant, you must ask what YOU are bringing to the table.  What are you offering that is dissonant or offensive? We are not in the “business” of upsetting you. We have other things to do than scare you or repel you. So what are YOU injecting into the conversation, so to speak? You must be mindful of this, as it may point to so much that you are injecting into your daily thoughts and activities which do not serve you. You can contour what comes into your mind as being helpful and drawing you further into alliance with what is best for you.
  6.  Reflect –  Your reactions to words can be helpful emotional registers of what is going on within you. We have only words with which to teach you, at least initially.  (In time, you can become practiced at receiving energetic transmissions or communications from us.) Thus, words are powerful emissaries.
  7.  Benefit – As you work or apply the philosophy, you should expect to become more sensitized to this. Our words to you, just like all our communications, will become more powerful and you will begin to equate our words with powerful learning that sets a vibration going or energetic field, if you like. Thus, you will learn to equate our words with actual energetic transmissions you can connect with, or attach to, to experience greater expansion. Applying these words of teaching can become almost second nature, and that is a good thing. For it is most likely to occur at the point when “Yes, this is really happening”  and the veracity of these words come together, or as Deborah likes to say the “actu-acity” strikes you. You will feel, in a sense, compelled to investigate further. We do not mean anything is forced upon you. But we think that when anything is presented as being very good for you, aligned with what you want, and eminently applicable, you will probably want to try it out, and it will feel indicated as the best choice going forward, one of our favorite words! It becomes easier and clearer as you go along.

So, this game is to start to condition you to your work to align yourself to words, meanings, and energies that benefit you. Have you understood all the meanings of the words? Have you thought about them in all the contexts? What are you adding to the meaning, and what are you reacting to? Is it a word at variance with the philosophy and why? What you are bringing to the table that might be influencing what you are hearing and how you are reacting? You might wish to repeat this exercise periodically to reflect on words of value to you.

There is no judgement on our part about how or whether you complete this exercise, and what you learn from it. We offer this as an exercise on your road to self-discovery and expansion. May worlds of joy be awaiting you at the end! —Your teachers

No gate is locked to you

By Deborah Arndt

“No experience you want or wish for is truly closed to you.” Pinnacle

Deborah was once unable to enter into a magnificent walled garden usually open to visitors. The garden was beautiful and beguiling. A rich discovery. There are many reasons she wanted to enter it, among them her interest in gardens and their historical connections. However in this case, she felt a strong desire to enter it. Yet the gates were locked and the garden closed. Ornate iron work offered a peak inside to catch a glimpse and imagine how beautiful it must be. She told herself, “Gates are never truly closed.” You can be lifted over perceived barriers in your life in so many ways.

We urged her to revisit the garden.  What awaited her in place of the ornate locked gates were temporary ones which opened easily, so she entered the garden. The vistas which greeted her, took her breath away: views over the sea, fountains, statues, and an ornate garden design with benches to rest and reflect. The day was cool and refreshing. Camelias by the hundreds surrounded her,as if in a dream. We encouraged her to include photographs here.

camelias

But our greatest encouragement is to you, dear reader. Nothing you want or wish for is truly closed to you. You have multiple opportunities to experience them. And if you miss one, you can always wait for it to come again. Please think about this as you go about your day. There are no barriers except that you believe there are. You can really accomplish anything! We write more about this in our books. We hope you will read it and explore more about this concept. —Your teachers

Without you where would we be?

By Deborah Arndt

You can still dance in the streets in or out of the rain.“

Our goal is to bring you something fresh with each day. Although we might not write in this blog each day, we hope you are finding fresh inspiration every day of your life, and we hope that makes sense to you. For we are here with you now, and wish to bring you all sorts of good news.

We know that not all of you can hear or read our words as the case may be, so they can be of benefit of you. You may be dealing with challenges that affect your ability to hear or read, but we hope to get through to you nevertheless. Each day, we work in some way to get through to you, for you are never lost to us and you never disappear from our view. Our work is to help shepherd you and guide you to the places you want to go.

We know that this blog and the internet have challenges, as so many want to interrupt, if not corrupt, the good that is being done out there, and we are really concerned about that.

First, you must learn to discern when you are hearing or reading the truth in the matter. Then you must parse out all static and interruptions designed to keep you guessing and frustrating the attempts of those like us who are happily endeavoring to teach you and reach you. But you can win! You can reign supreme in this game by remembering how loved you are, and how hard we and others like us are working to reach you and help you with your lives.

Never give up and never give in! In fact, where would we be without you? What good would all this teaching do, if you were not there to receive it? That is our point in this blog. You so help make the world go around!

When you connect with our words and with your true purpose, it is such a shining light outward to others, and indeed a shining light within you, too.

So, don’t despair when others are hacking and seem to ruin what you hoped would benefit you in some way. The benefit never can go away. How could that be the case?

When all goodness in the world and the universe is pitched at you and your experience, how could some hackers and ‘interrupters,’ as we like to call them, really make that much difference in your life? Does a day of rain ruin your life, we might well ask? Well, no! It’s just a day when you have to wear other clothes when you go out, but it does nothing to stop your enjoyment of living. Now, how could it ? That is only your fear until you find out that you can still dance in the streets in or out of the rain. We love to reach out to you with joy and humor. So you can dance and sing in the rain, can’t you?

That’s what we are trying to get across here: that you should not be depressed or saddened by those who interrupt, spam, or hack their way into your experience, for they are short-term, and will ultimately wilt and fall anyway. They are not supported by a firm premise like love. They are not concerned for your welfare so they can’t last long, if at all.

So take heart in that, and turn your attention to things that are happier, more fulfilling, and just right for you. That will get you where you want to go anyway. And have a wonderful day! Because where would we all be without YOU? – With love, your teachers.
