Taking It One Step Further

By Deborah Arndt Leave a Comment

There is a gift or promise in the making …

Field notes from Deborah:   It’s fun to be back in the garden again! When we purchased our little home five years ago, an older perennial garden was in place in the front yard. It needed editing, and much more! It needed loving care. Now that my writing desk is facing out our front window onto the garden, I decided to get busy and make it into something special to see each morning.  My interest in the garden grew from basic curb appeal  to creating a happy place to look out upon. There is a difference. I feel the latter is about my being more connected to nature through my work, and wanting to bring more of that experience into my own garden.

Assparrow-1350800-640x480 I look out now, I see birds busily digging for worms and insects, and I watch them through my field glasses and read about them. They perch near my window and seem to look at me. Perhaps they are happy I am writing for the Teachers. I feel they must know it and want to get in on it, too … visiting my yard, working and singing to help inspire me. Our dear friends, the robins, have returned again to rear their young on our fence, snuggled into a fantastic nest of leggy interlaced twigs arrayed like those woodland wreaths I see in floral shops, that take the magic of wreaths one step further — as if celebrating all woodland things! That is what I mean. I am taking it one step further, too.

Working the soil and choosing just the right plant filled several days for me. Paging through garden design books I picked up at thrift stores, made for a quick study, and I was ready for action. It was so pleasant to walk through rows of plants at a garden center, and feel the potential, literally, of each plant: Lavender, Coreopsis, Bee Balm, Dianthus, Silver Mound, Maiden Grass. Their labels, like calling cards, are mere introductions.  I must imagine them grown, moving in the wind and adding scent and beauty to my world.  As it is very windy here many days during the year, I know they will bend and wave and acclimate to life here near the shore. There is a gift or promise in the making that I am very much looking forward to.

the-lake-garden-1376363-639x424I feel myself wanting to draw more and more each day from nature around me. I do feel it communicating with me, the long grasses in the field, gulls and hawks overhead, frogs and little garter snakes near the river,  a fox peering at me from the woods, and horses in an adjoining field. When they move or fly, it seems to me they dance. I know from the Teachers that they have their busy lives to get on with, and are not particularly concerned with us, yet I also know now that they come forward to see me and interact with me when I invite that. My walks are like an adventure now in ways too numerous here to list. Because of the abounding aspect of nature, the possibilities are endless. I was promised  this by the Teachers and they have not been wrong. They have not disappointed. I hope you, too, will bring endless beauty into your life, and explore what can inform and so inspire you!

And here is my little sparrow again, peering in at me, wondering what I may be writing, or perhaps knowing that it is a contribution to All that is, and so it must be good.  Wishing you joyful experiences, dear reader. Your comments and questions are always welcome. Deborah

The Teachers: “What Awaits You In Spring”

By Deborah Arndt

What does it take to bring something new and fresh into your world?

Deborah has been writing again … in our newest book, which we hope you will enjoy. It’s entitled: Verdant: The Greening of Your Prosperity.  That makes us think of how green everything is turning in New York where Deborah is. All is green again! You must be getting the point that there is no end. And spring signals so much more than season and weather, but how your life re-engages  … again and again! And the wheel is always turning to bring you what you need.

Now, Deborah is hoping we will write to you about gardens. She has been plunging her trowel into the soil making something lovely out of a patch of ground … turning it into a garden of visual delights. The flowers are diverse colors, and she has interspersed grasses and border plants that offset the array of colors perfectly. Can’t you do something similar in your life? What does it take to bring something new and fresh into your world? Does it take a spade and trowel, or does it happen with other tools? What if you are born with those tools? What if Mother Nature provides them at no charge, so to speak? Can you get on board with this idea that you can grow gardens upon gardens with exciting vistas and so much more? You can grow fields of things within you and let them shine out and colorize and beautify the world. So why don’t you?

Think of spring as emblematic.

We love that it is spring, and everything is renewing and on the upswing in upstate New York, but that is only a small part of the world you inhabit. There  is renewal literally everywhere! You don’t have to travel, or fret if you can’t travel, to get to places where gardens like Deborah’s abound, for there is a garden in your own back yard, my friend. You can bring yourself to the task of creating it anytime you wish. Now, we don’t like to tell you what to do, but when it comes to growth and regrowth, and marvelous opportunity to be something MORE, and to give something MORE, and receive something MORE, then why don’t you do it? It is not so hard. Think of spring as emblematic. Think of renewal as your gift for all time … an eternal wonder that you can enjoy, and feel wonder at! Why would you not want that?

As your garden grows, so shall you.

Imagine each day is full of wonder. “How did this or that happen?” you ask. Well, you can have that feeling. You might call it living a life of miracles, or at least miraculous experience, and soon it will become intention. For you will be so good at setting forth each day the intention that your day be filled with miracles. Now wouldn’t that be wonderful? Wouldn’t that be living truly, deeply and wonderfully, just as you always wished? Will others believe that you live a life of miracles? Well, that doesn’t matter at this time, does it? It is enough to feel that something that marvelous CAN be happening to YOU! Do you understand? When something comes home like that, and you can’t deny it, and you can’t push it away, well, you must look at it. Now it is YOURS, and no one can take it away.

Each day, when Deborah writes or reviews what has been written, she knows a miracle has unfolded. Well, it has or at least that is what she feels. We would not want to take that feeling from her! For in her perspective, how can all this writing and teaching be flowing through her? But if you sat with her and felt what she feels, you would soon understand and have a similar experience. For you would be a conduit of all good things and wonderful, exciting, miraculous things, too. For there is a never ending supply. Goodness, value, understanding and teaching can flow through you, too. Why not join the crowd and get on board and live a fabulous revved up life? Why wait any longer? As your garden grows, so shall you! All that you hold dear will flourish, too. Can you wait longer for that?

We do hope you will read our new book that will be published soon, Verdant: The Greening of Your Prosperity and drink deeply from that cup that is provided. Be so glad that this opportunity knocks, and you are not forgotten or omitted from the process that embraces you in all its glory, and selects YOU as its progeny and joyous expression of love, coming to you in love and inviting you to love others. Well, we hope this for you. Welcome spring, and all that it shows and teaches us! For we are all students of this one thing: life everlasting and joyful awakening, again and again!

With our love and hopes that you will mine or garden for new delights … new discoveries along with us. We are here on this journey with you, and we will help you. Never fear. Read on, gardeners of the soul and heart!  We, your teachers

Being Confident

By Deborah Arndt

“Confidence is like a well within you that you can draw on.”

water-well-1505494-640x480From the teachers:  We all suffer from lack of confidence from time to time. There is no shame there. But what will you do to make things you truly want to come about, if you lack confidence? We think confidence is like a well within you that you can draw upon, and it never empties and is always full, so to speak. You draw up buckets of it as you need it. And being needers of confidence, as you are of water, you need it often.

Now, when the “well runs dry,” it is not really dry,  but you have lacked confidence that it is full. Do you understand? You are allowing something to run dry, that cannot run dry. So it must be your perception and only your perception. It is as if you were to walk out to a lake and not see the water that is there. It is there, but you say you cannot see it. Some may say, not being able to appreciate it is the near cousin to not being able to see something. So if you perceive that the well of your confidence has run dry, have you really looked? Are you in tune with what you must be to see if there is more, much more waiting at the bottom, so to speak, to quench and nourish you. Now draw up the bucket confidently, and find there it is. You drink deeply from the ladle and say, “Now I am quenched. I can do what I want to do, came to do.” You are restored. Just as those who thirst can go on when they have received drink, so when you are filled again, you can go out and on with your life. Approaching Something New

Never let there be an expiry date on what you are doing, and want to do!

GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA

From the Teachers:  When you are on the threshold of a new month, it is so exciting. And what can be more exciting than the ushering in of spring? We know how you often feel at your best this time of year when the animals come back out to play, and birds are everywhere singing their songs. but you are like the spring, ever-wakening and ever reaching toward a new day. We love to call this the ever green part of you. That is a section included in our new and upcoming book: Verdant: The Greening of Our Prosperity. We want you to start looking at what is ever green around you, and to find your natural associations with it. For there are many.  [Read more…] about Approaching Something New

Welcome the March of Time

By Deborah Arndt Leave a Comment

Blessed be this morning …

within-the-nest-1367907-640x480From the Teachers:  Blessed be this morning. when you have awakened and have come to read this post. We appreciate your interest and concern for your own well-being and that of others to bring yourself to this reading and other teachings we have in store for you. Now, we are working hard these days on new work that concerns the greening of your prosperity. Will you wish to read this, and will you, in fact, be ready for it? We don’t mean to impugn your intelligence in any way but to ask what will you do with this great information that is coming to you, from “on high,” so to speak? We hope you will use it.

We wish to get you to consider how you will make best use of information and teaching we share if you are not yourself inquiring and building upon what you are learning. We encourage you to get started reading our other works. In this way, you can better appreciate our new work which is in development. We hope to build within you a sense of expectation for this news and teaching when it arrives. As we write in our work in development, build a nest of expectancy in your heart and watch what comes to you. You do want love, joy, and happiness to nest within you, don’t you? Seems so simple to think about, especially in this time of spring approaching fast.

Where Deborah writes, it seems already to have arrived, with the happy song of birds nearby and the grass greening quickly. The long arms of spring seem ready to embrace her. Are you getting in the spirit of the thing, whether it be spring or just the happy advances you are making each day, and which are also waiting in the wings for you? All that you wish will soon come. Will you urge it on, will you build that nest of expectancy within you? We do hope so!

And so we speak of the “March of Time.” It is March and time is so precious. Make the most of it. There is no ending as such but time in your life and in your sphere of operation there is precious as is all opportunity that you miss because you are distracted. Try not to be, or at least minimize distractions. They are only taking you out of your current registration of life and how sweet it can be. You only seek distraction because you perceive that you are not receiving that which you earnestly hope and pray for. But let’s have an end to that and be more, believe more and obtain more. We have so much more to write you about that, and it concerns a great deal of the work we are developing now … our book especially for you. We hope you will be on the look out for it, perhaps later in the spring.

In the meantime, satisfy your cravings for more knowledge and more value in the way you do and learn things through our most recent publication: Magnitude: Varying Our Degree of Learning. Learn how to be grateful for the good news that pours out to you in the volume and how to apply it successfully in your life. Be all that you really can be. We love you and wish you the sweetest of springs and that the march of your joyous life truly goes on and on!  –Your Teachers

A New Book Emerges

By Deborah Arndt

“Soon a title for the first chapter emerged: “BEGIN” so I began … to write, that is.”

From Deborah:  While on vacation, I started a new book. This one will be our fourth. (Read about our other books, too.) The title involves the words verdant and green, and helps us to stay fresh with our goals and perspectives. I’m holding back on sharing the title until we are more progressed in completing the book. The Teachers are adept at coming up with titles, and I admit I am fascinated by this. The book titles are rich with wording. By contrast, chapter titles tend to be short and to the point. Each morning I take time to relax, sip on some coffee, and meditate with the Teachers. Soon, a title for the first chapter emerged:  “BEGIN” so I began … to write, that is. What seemed like an obvious beginning chapter title was nothing like that. Let me share some of the stunning first words of this first chapter:   [Read more…] about A New Book Emerges
